Just Chitu, aka Big Boy, is a 2018 TB Gelding by Chitu x JustTellTheStory. His name does him justice, standing at 16.3hh+. Although big, he’s an easy-going boy who loves to please. He is brave and loves the slower-paced lifestyle. I knew he was something special when his track trainer and the owner insisted on personally driving him 8+ hours to me, so they could give him a proper farewell. He was loved on the track by family and friends and was spoiled by grandchildren who loved feeding him treats. That treatment has proven successful as he adjusted to life off the track. He retired sound with no limitations and has great feet! Currently, with shoes on all 4. He is a mild cribber, but it is controlled with a collar. He is currently turned out in a herd of 7 with ZERO issues.

Under saddle, Big Boy is nothing short of fabulous. He stands at the mounting block perfectly. He is calm and loves to hack around on the buckle. He naturally wants to do the right thing and looks to you for guidance. He is starting to look for my hand and is excellent at listening to verbal commands for transitions. He has gone XC schooling and handled the water jumps, ditches, banks, and everything with bravery. Nothing will stop this fabulous gelding. I would love to see him go forward as an eventer or hunter. There is truly something so special about him. He could be finished by an ammy with a trainer.
